Administrative Staff

Becca Benson serves as the Associate Director for Operations & Programs at Southern Miss, where she brings extensive experience in university programming, student engagement, and event coordination. While new to the esports space, Becca is passionate about creating inclusive and innovative experiences for campers. She is excited to support the development of our esports camps, helping to provide students with a fun, educational, and team-oriented environment on campus. 

Trace Rutman serves as the Esports Program Director at Southern Miss and has been working in esports for five years, founding and serving as president for Calvin University Esports for three years before coaching at Marian University Wisconsin for two. Trace also has experience in day camps, working as a counselor and head counselor at Camp Scottie for three summers. Trace is so excited to welcome our community into our esports spaces and provide a new experience for students interested in Video Games.
